Fragile,
You’re like a summer breeze
In a coal mine canary’s heart…
These are hard times
And you spread your yellow wings
As if, on the top of a persimmon,
You’re innocently feeding yourself,
Shaking all my branches…
I’m like a bird too, you know?
Like those who run from a cage
But I’ve never, ever
Had someone like you
Whistling free
On my statue shoulder…
You tell me then
You feel like a flower
In a retro black and white world
And I slide trough the classics like a falcon
Or a kindergarten kid
Giving you all my ice cream for a smile…
Fragile, fragile…
.
